Stamped concrete gives you the appearance of premium materials like flagstone, cobblestone, brick, or wood plank without the higher material and labor costs. It's a single poured slab, which means no gaps for weeds to grow through and no individual pavers to shift during Wisconsin's freeze-thaw cycles.
The process works by pressing textured mats into freshly poured concrete while it's still workable. We apply integral color to the mix and a contrasting release agent to the surface, creating realistic depth and variation. After curing, a clear sealer locks in the color and adds a slight sheen.
Stamped concrete works well for patios, pool decks, walkways, and entryways. We've installed it on driveways too, though we'll be upfront about whether stamped is the right choice for your specific driveway situation — high-traffic driveways sometimes do better with a standard finish.
Stamped concrete is popular across the Wausau metro, particularly in Rib Mountain where ashlar slate patterns complement wooded lots, and in Weston where families want polished outdoor living spaces. We also install stamped patios and walkways in Rothschild, Schofield, Mosinee, and Marathon City.
